This morning Feb 14, 2017 MNA Safety & MPSA Committee Chair Beth Blackwell-Cullen along with Cathy Bunn and Jack Steelman delivered sub sandwiches, cookies, chips, granola bars, cake, candy, AQUA Hydrate water, High Brew Cold Coffee and Coca-Cola products to the Midtown precinct as a thank you to the 180 officers of Zone 5 who put their lives in danger every day for our safety.
Under the leadership of Major Kreher, we saw a 25% reduction in crime in Zone 5 in 2016. In fact, Zone 5 saw the largest crime reduction in the city of Atlanta. (Data is available on the APD Open Data Portal: http://opendata.atlantapd.org/Crimedata/…)
