In addition, there are dozens of mobile vaccination sites available each week. These are community-based “pop-up” vaccinations at locations across Fulton County. No appointment is needed but please check the website before heading out to make sure no changes have been made.

This week, Fulton County will be offering vaccines at all Atlanta Public Schools middle and high schools for students age 12+. Vaccination is voluntary and parents MUST sign consent forms. Parents should get more information from their child’s individual schools.

MASKS ARE BACK AT FULTON COUNTY
|
|
All employees and those visiting Fulton County facilities will be required to wear mask indoors. Fulton County Chief Operating Officer Anna Roach advised the Board that Fulton County would return to requiring masks inside its facilities.

As of August 4, 2021, Fulton County has recorded 88,288 confirmed cases and 16,688 probable cases of COVID-19.
Of all PCR testing done in Fulton County between July 19 and August 1, the percent positivity rate was 10.0%.
The majority of the new cases (59%) are in younger age groups (10 to 39 years). The percent positivity rate is the highest among children 11 to 18 and 0 to 9 year age groups.

Homebound Residents
Georgia residents who are currently homebound due to an ongoing physical or mental disability and are unable to travel to a COVID-19 vaccination site can request to receive vaccination. Call l 888-572-0112.
