2024 Juneteenth Parade

This year, Atlanta’s Juneteenth Music Festival and Parade will make its celebratory debut in Midtown. 

While the festival will take place from Friday – Sunday inside Piedmont Park, on Saturday, June 22, 2024, the parade will travel its route through Old Fourth Ward along Boulevard / Monroe into Midtown ending at Piedmont Park (10th & Monroe.)  Parade participants and guests will enter the park on foot or exit vehicles via directed roadways in coordination with the Fulton County Sheriffs’ office. 

While some closures may be delayed or rolling closures, we can not confirm that at this time and ask neighbors to anticipate full road closures for Midtown areas beginning at 12 PM on:

• Monroe Drive from Ponce de Leon to 10th Street
• 10th Street from Charles Allen Drive to Monroe Drive 

The parade permit was approved today. Please share with other impacted neighbors to help inform our community.  At this time, we only know that the parade will be begin at 12 PM.  No end time or road reopening times have been provided.  We will update as we get more information.
