Midtown Spring Tree Planting Day

Our canopy is a major reason that Midtown is so beautiful.  It also contributes to important sustainability needs like shade, water runoff management, and oxygen cycling.

MNA’s Gardens Committee wants to ensure we are always replenishing our canopy. Neighbors Jeff Burns and Stormie Israel are coordinating a spring planting day on March 25, 2023 with Trees Atlanta.  They will be planting 30 trees!

Do you know a good spot for a new tree?  Email Jeff and Stormie with the following information:

– right-of-way locations:  closest address

– is the location under power lines?

– how many trees could be installed (best estimate, the team will confirm)

– indication of a special tree request (Trees Atlanta will suggest otherwise)
