What does it mean to love our Midtown neighborhood?
I love Midtown and I can’t imagine living in any other neighborhood in the city. I am drawn to the great diversity of both its residents, its character and its accessibility and quality of life. I want to help build a better community that preserves what makes Midtown so unique while improving to make it better for residents today and tomorrow.
What unique qualities do you offer that will continue the positive growth and work of MNA?
I have a background in architecture, design, marketing and advertising. I have a passion for service, and I have held leadership roles in several organizations and committees and strive to lead with integrity. I will bring a different perspective and new thinking to MNA. I have brought my experience working with large brands to help continue to strengthen MNA in the minds of our residents and across the city. In addition, I hope to continue to be a voice and representative of the many residents living in multi-family communities in Midtown, and especially all residents most likely to be affected by growth on the Ponce Corridor.
How are you a good Midtown neighbor today?
I have lived here for 11 years now. I take an active role in Midtown—I show up, listen to what all types of residents are saying, and participate in conversations at the neighborhood, NPU and City levels. I’ve served on the MNA board since 2020, and participated in activities and events as a member and volunteer. I am the current president of my condo association and a voice to my immediate neighbors on community related matters. I am passionate about smarter, more sustainable cities, and am part of the leadership team of a grassroots organization advocating for Beltline Rail Now.
Where would you like to see progress in our community?
I would like to always put our residents and the people of our city first—strong people make stronger communities. We need to work together, listening with open-minds, offering smart and innovative solutions to make our community work for us.
