On Sunday night a resident was attached on 9th and Argonne Ave. the assailant pulled a taser and wrestle him to the ground. Nearby neighbors came out to assist. The accused assailant Matthew Cubbage has been apprehended and is currently in the Ted Turner Precinct office. Our District Attorney Niaa Daniels is already on the case. We will be requesting letters of impact from residents for our court watch program. These documents help to ensure that when a perpetrator is before a judge that the maximum sentence is applied.
