This weekend begins the 81st annual Atlanta Dogwood Festival. Please be advised of road closures this week around the park and a new Zero Tolerance Parking policy by APD. All unauthorized vehicles will be towed this year. There will be no citations for parking during the festival.
- App includes Dogwood Fest. Mimosa 5K at 8 am on the 8th Street.
- Rolling closure on curb lane on streets around the park.
- Charles Allen parking lane between 8th and 10th to be staging area (on GHS side) April 5-10th.
- 10th St. cycle track lane closed April 5-10th for large trucks and staging.
- Please note there is also staging for filming of “Simon vs. the Homo sapiens.” in Grady HS stadium. This will be a very busy area.
- Uber/taxi dropoff on Piedmont
The MNA asks that residents avoid driving in this area and please notify your friends about the parking restrictions and advise them to use mass transit or park at Colony Square.
