A new noise ordinance has been adopted recently by the City of Atlanta. Although it contains some improvements over the previous ordinance, it still needs to be revised to be functional. Here is the new ordinance. NOISE ORDINANCE
Noise can come from new construction, festivals, special events, and even night clubs throughout Midtown. Write to your city council representative, your APD zone commander, and copy licensepermits@midtownatlanta.org to help resolve any excessive noise issues. Please call 911 to document the incidents if you cannot get resolution by other means.
