  Midtown Environmental Progress Committee Announcement: We are the Midtown Clean-up Committee and we are here to recruit you! Could you take an hour to clean-up our streets? Please join us at the intersection of Greenwood Avenue and Charles Allen Drive on August 1, 2009 at 8:30 AM for our next Midtown Clean-up.

 
  NPU-E - 1st Tuesday each month The May NPU-E Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, July 7.

 
 
Midtown Book Club - July 8, 2009: The Sound and the Fury by William Faulkner The Midtown Book Group meets at Barnes & Noble @ Tech Square (5th & Spring) the 2nd Wednesday of each month @ 8 pm to discuss and enjoy great literature.

 
  Education Committee / Intown Academy Meeting The Education Committee will meet in conjunction with the Intown Academy Meetings on the 2nd Tuesday of every month, from 7-9 pm at Danneman's Coffee. Please rsvp that you will be attending as an MEC interested member to mec@midtownatlanta.org of (404) 915-6233.

 
  E-Recycling Drop-off - 3rd Saturday Each Month July 18, come out and join your Midtown friends and neighbors in helping keep Midtown the greenest neighborhood in Atlanta. Midtown Neighborhood Association has arranged for an e-recycling drop off on the 3rd Saturday of every month at Grady High School in the parking lot on 8th St.

 
  Monthly Land Use Meeting - 3rd Tuesday Each Month The Next Land Use meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, July 21. The Land Use Committee meets the 3rd Tuesday each month. Meetings begin at 7:pm in the Fireside Room at the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer. Please click on heading for a list of applicants and the Land Use agenda.

 
  July Mingle in Midtown Come network with your neighbors and support a new local business. Participate in MNA special luncheon raffle for 15% off entire bill for your office (up to 10 people) or home (up to 5 people) valid between the hours of 11AM and 5PM daily.

 
 
Monthly License & Permit Committee Meeting - Monday, July 27, 2009 If you have an application for the License & Permit Committee, please email your application to LiquorLicenses@midtownatlanta.org. Liquor licenses and Special Events to be heard at 6:30pm, July 27:


 
  Monthly Board of Directors Meeting - Last Thursday Each Month The next scheduled meeting of the MNA Board of Directors will be held on Thursday, July 30. All Board of Directors meetings are open to the public. The MNA encourages all our neighbors and any interested parties to attend our Board meetings.

 
 
Midtown Clean Up: The next monthly clean-up is scheduled for Saturday, August 1 Saturday, August 1 - Help make your neighborhood clear of trash by joining the MNA Clean-up Committee, 9am till 10:30am.

 
  Pilates & Yoga in Piedmont Park every Saturday 8 am Weather permitting, "Care from the Core" Pilates & Yoga classes will be held each Saturday at 8 am in the park beginning in June. Join your neighbors near the 12th St. entrance for an hour of fun and exercise. Voluntary donations w

 
  Cafe of Life -- Kids Day Atlanta Bring the kids for Fun, Food, and Health & Recycling Education!

Kids Day event for Atlanta will be August 22, 2009, in the Midtown Atlanta area. Kids Day America, as a national event, is going on it's 15th year and we are proud to be a part of this


 
  Traffic Alert: 10th Street Ramp Reopens From WSB News: For the first time in more than a year, southbound I-85 drivers will be able to exit to 10th Street starting on Thursday . . .

 
  Special Donation to the Light Up Midtown Program! Scott Leventhal, CEO and President of Tivoli Properties met with the Midtown Neighbors' Association and has generously donated to our Light Up Midtown program.

 
  FY2009 Solid Waste Collection Schedule In accordance with the recently implemented citywide furlough plan, the Department of Public Works-Solid Waste Services has adjusted operating hours and service delivery.
