2014 Midtown Tour of Homes - Call for Homes The selection process for the December 6, 2014 Midtown Tour of Homes is underway! For 2014, we're focusing on the Charles Allen side of the neighborhood and we still have a few slots left. Do you deck your home out for the holidays? Have a neighbor who goes all out? Is your home or condo one you want to show off? Email us and let us know.

  Monthly Land Use Meeting - 3rd Tuesday Each Month The October Land Use meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, October 21, 2014. The Land Use Committee regularly meets the 3rd Tuesday each month at Jason's Deli on 10th Street. Meetings begin at 7:pm. Taste of Atlanta After successfully serving up the city's best fare for more than a decade, Taste of Atlanta is back with bigger features and bolder flavors in its 13th year! The legendary three-day food festival returns to Midtown at Tech Square Friday, October 24 – Sunday, October 26, 2014.

This year's event takes festival-goers on a culinary adventure through the city's many diverse neighborhoods by featuring the chefs and restaurants that give these communities their true personality and flavor.


 
  Atlanta World Kite Festival at Piedmont Park Come join us all for kite flying and demonstrations, food, face painting, The Braves BAT Teamperformances by the world-renowned classical Chinese dance and music show- Shen Yun 2015,SenoritAwesome, The InStep Step Team and the list keeps on growing.   Monthly License & Permit Committee Meeting The October License and Permit meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at 6:30. The meetings take place in the Community Room at Jason's Deli on 10th Street near Myrtle. To see the agenda, please click on the heading above. Monthly Board of Directors Meeting - Last Thursday Each Month The next scheduled meeting of the MNA Board of Directors will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2014 in the Community Room at Jason's Deli, located at 230 10th Street. All Board of Directors meetings are open to the public. The MNA encourages all our neighbors and any interested parties to attend our Board meetings.

 
  NPU-E - 1st Tuesday Each Month The next NPU-E Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, November 4. Please note: November 4 is election day. For meeting location, please follow the signs posted inside Peachtree Christian. Neighborhood Planning Units (NPUs) are citizen advisory councils that make recommendations to the Mayor and City Council on zoning, land-use and other planning issues.

Permit Parking Block Captains in Midtown The Midtown Neighbors' Association, with the help of MPSA, has established some Neighborhood Watch block captains that can answer questions on safety and traffic and residential permit parking on your "block".
